Teaching
Jenna Zielinski is a New York based teaching artist. She currently works as a teaching artist with Marquis Studios, a kids and family yoga instructor with Yogi Beans, and as a choreographer for the Oceanside School District. Jenna has experience teaching in a variety of environments, such as, in-studio, in-school, after-school, camps, private groups, birthday parties, and more. She works with all ages and levels. She makes sure that everyone who participates in her class has fun and feels successful! Jenna likes to teach through play and movement exploration. Her teaching style is student focused and driven, meeting students where they are at and encouraging them to be independent leaders. She helps students develop their own artistic voice by providing opportunities for creative decisions.

Jenna believes that everyone should learn and study dance in order to experience the freedom and joy of movement. Dance is more than learning steps. Studying dance teaches people to use their mind and body together in new and different ways, as they are exploring and discovering creativity, discipline, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
